Supercraft were contracted by me to build a hangar (24m x 12m). This was a little different to their normal ‘run of the mill’ work both in scale (a small project for a private owner) and type of building (hangars have specific requirements). However I was impressed by the interest and attention to detail taken by Mark Pugh (MD Supercraft). Subsequently a few problems of design arose due to the unique requirements of the building. Although these cost some time and money for Supercraft, I was always confident that I would end up with the structure that I required. The delays were a bit unfortunate because it meant that landscaping and grass seeding missed the ideal autumn window. As a result the hangar only became fully useable in June instead of April. It would have been even later if it had not been for the wet spring. Despite this we are all pleased with the result. The subcontracted roller shutter doors were constructed, supplied and fitted by Hughes. These proved to be good in design and operation and excellent value for money. Supercraft were also flexible enough to coordinate their work with my preferred local ground works contractor which also helped to make sure that the work was a success. I would not hesitate to use Supercraft again and would be happy to meet with any prospective Supercraft customer to pass on my experience.
